Travel Credentials
Mark spent 20 years in the computer industry with Big
Blue where he held the positions of chief programmer and advanced
designer. He still remains active in the telecommunications
industry. He good naturedly takes some ribbing about being the "Alpha
Geek" at Filigree Leisure Travel.
Mark was born to be a global gypsy. The son of a
military officer, Mark has roamed the globe since childhood. He has traveled to
western Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Far East. Mark has a
first hand knowledge of the travel industry as an agency owner/manager since
1991 and holds a degree in Business Management from North Carolina State
University. He is a CLIA Accredited Cruise Counselor. A self-confessed cruise
junkee, Mark has taken more cruises and inspected more cruise ships than he can
count. Mark is also a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge. His select
clientele exhibit a fierce loyalty to his ability to give knowledgable answers
to tough travel questions, experienced product or destination appraisals and
honest value for a dollar.
Special Interests
Mark's passion is music theme cruises and music resorts
( he started playing the guitar at age 14 ).
He specializes in small company incentive travel
programs as well as group or FIT tours and cruises to the Caribbean and
Europe/Mediteranean
He takes great delight in helping his friends make their
dream vacations a dream come true.
Mark and his wife Ann have two grown children and three grandchildren.
